Currently, Learners have the ability to submit multiple times to an Exercise before they receive any reviews. When they submit to an Exercise and receive reviews, they can delete and try again, assuming the Challenge stage is still open, but deleting their submission deletes all data (i.e. feedback and rubric reviews) associated with that Submission.
Now you can set up your Exercises to allow Learners to resubmit after they’ve received feedback without erasing past submission attempts and all data related to that submission (i.e. feedback and rubric results).
Both Instructors and Learners can view the full submission history.
Note: This feature is for rubric exercises only.
This is true remediation, once a student has received a peer review or assessment, any attempt at deleting the Submission is going to be a retry. Follow the steps below to enable multiple Submission attempts.
First navigate to your Exercise page. Next, add “/edit/advanced” to the url field.
On the new page, add the number of submission reattempts you would like, and then select ”Save”.
That’s it. You’re finished enabling multiple Submissions for remediation.
This article demonstrates the steps a Learner can take if he or she has the option to resubmit his or her Submission post assessment.
